Dubes Ukraina Minta Dukungan Indonesia: Berapa pun Nilainya, Sangat Berharga

Indonesia memiliki sejarah yang heroik serta rakyat yang pemberani. Saya bangga bahwa Ukraina-lah yang memberikan kontribusi besar bagi kemerdekaan Indonesia pada tahun 1945-1949. Saya bangga bahwa Ukraina selalu membantu Indonesia saat Indonesia membutuhkan, termasuk di saat terjadinya bencana-bencana alam baru-baru ini.

Saya bangga menjadi Duta Besar Ukraina di negara Anda. Maka akan menjadi kehormatan besar bagi saya dan bangsa saya untuk menerima dukungan dan pertolongan dari Indonesia di saat berbahaya ini, yang mengancam kemerdekaan serta kedaulatan Ukraina.

Dear friends, dear people of Nusantara,

Ukraine is in fire, set by Putin’s regime of Russia. All regions are under attack. Civilians – women and children – are being murdered in cold blood. Civilian objects, houses, schools, orphanages and hospitals are under bombardment and missile assaults. 

This is war against humanity. This cruel was is not just against Ukraine, but against mankind, against global peace and security.

Who will be the next in chain of Putin’s war crimes? Putin must be stopped NOW. Aggression must end.
So I call upon all and every one of you, my dear Indonesians: help Ukraine, help the world to get rid of this Russian plague. 

Many countries in the world have already started punishing Russia for these war crimes, by cutting it off SWIFT and other internet instruments, closing airports and seaports for Russian airplanes and ship, imposing economic and personal sanctions on Russia and its leadership, closing media space for Russian propaganda (TV, Internet channels etc.). 

Many countries provide military, financial, medical and civilian aids for Ukraine, right now. Anything will contribute into victory over this bloody Russian beast. Anyone can help. 
How you can help?

- Financially support Ukraine. Any amount is invaluable for us. Money can be directly transferred to the account opened by Central Bank of Ukraine or transferred through the Embassy of Ukraine in Jakarta;

- Stop Russian propaganda and hypocritical lies by all available means in social networks, in media, among friends;

- Share the truth on this war with everyone around, through social networks, mass-media, among friends;

Indonesia has heroic past and brave people. I’m proud that it was Ukraine that made huge contribution into Indonesian independence back in 1945-1949. I’m proud that Ukraine has always been helping Indonesia in need, including during the recent natural disasters. 

I’m proud to be the Ambassador of Ukraine in your country. And it will be great honour for me and my nation to receive support, help and assistance from Indonesia in this time of grave danger for Ukrainian independence and sovereignty.
